A fantastic place to stay and relax when visiting Kumbakonam. Located directly opposite Kumbakonam Railway Station, Vinayaga clearly has an edge over others. I booked over the phone through the front office staff, Mr. Rathnam, who ensured the room was ready on time and made check-in effortless. He was very helpful throughout my stay. The restaurant ambience and cleanliness were excellent, with a wide choice of South Indian breakfast options served by polite and courteous staff. Mr. Christopher deserves special mention. Their unique travel food takeaway set (available on pre-order) was extraordinary in taste. Vinayaga by Poppys will always be my hotel of choice in Kumbakonam.
