Undoubtedly one of the best budget hotels in the temple town of Kumbakonam. The rooms and bathrooms were sparkling clean, with fresh-smelling bedsheets, pillows, and towels. The room was spacious enough for 2–3 adults and well furnished with a study table, chair, single-seater sofa, bedside tables, ample storage, and good lighting. Parking is available for around 4 cars in front and 6–7 cars in the basement. The location is excellent right opposite the railway station, close to the bus stand, and just a 10-minute walk to the famous Mahamaham Tank. The complimentary South Indian breakfast was fresh and tasty, with items like idli, pongal, upma, dosa, and snacks. Safe for solo women travellers and families. Special mention to Mr. Rathinam at the front desk and Mr. Rahul, Housekeeping In-Charge, for their professionalism and courtesy.
